Egypt deals Nov 3

Greece and Mediterranean Travel Centre will offer the “strictly upmarket” Egypt in Style tour in its 2007 Egypt brochure. This 10-day tour includes four nights at the Cairo Marriott, four nights Nile cruising on the Sonesta Star Goddess, Abu Simbel excursion with return flights and guide, and one night in the Old Cataract Hotel Aswan.

Adventure World has released a range of new itineraries for Egypt in 2007. Three new programs have been added, including a cruise package on the M/S Nubian Sea. There are also new land packages, such as the 10-day Glimpse of the Red Sea from $1581pp, and the three-day Alexandria Discovery from $425.

Tempo Holidays has introduced the new three-day Taste of Alexandria package from $452pp twin share, designed to provide an optional gateway to Cairo or as an add-on tour. The Sonesta Star Goddess has been added to Tempo’s Nile cruises fleet. Tempo’s best-selling nine-day Jewel of the Nile cruise is priced from $2843pp twin share.

Trafalgar Tours has a nine-day Best of Egypt holiday, promising clients will “see it all” with a cruise down the Nile, the Valley of the Kings and, of course, the great Pyramids of Giza. Priced from $1850pp, departures are available from February 7, 2007 to January 30, 2008.

Abercrombie & Kent has a new 10-night Inside Egypt itinerary featuring a three-night Nile cruise onboard Sun Boat IV combined with a three-night cruise on Lake Nasser. Travellers wanting to get off the beaten track will enjoy the four-night Trail of Alexander tour which travels from Alexandria to the desert oasis of Siwa, following the path of Alexander the Great.
