Watch: Police remove abusive Queensland woman from Jetstar flight

Australian Federal Police (AFP) were forced to remove an abusive woman from a Jetstar flight thanks to some very unsavoury behaviour.

The Brisbane-bound flight was made extremely uncomfortable to all onboard when the 47-year-old Queensland woman continued to hurl abuse at passengers and crew.

The incident took place around 20-minutes into the flight and continued until landing in Brisbane two-hours later.

Watch the footage here:

In the clip, the woman can be heard screaming so loudly children begin crying.

Speaking to 9News, witnessed said the woman was chanting and singing.

In the footage, the woman can also be seen clutching a bible and using it as a weapon to shoo away crew members.

The AFP boarded the flight when it landed in Brisbane and quickly arrested her.

Speaking on the incident, the AFP told 9News, “Once in the terminal, the woman allegedly became agitated and aggressive and refused to comply with directions from AFP officers.

“For the welfare of the woman, an ambulance was called and she was taken to hospital for physical and psychiatric assessment.”
