Social media has proved successful for personal travel managers, particular for TravelManagers with cruise marketing.

TravelManagers representative in Narre Warren South, Nicole Edgar, organised a ‘girls cruise’ which successful reached the cruise market through social media.

Edgar completed her “Master Cruise Consultant” accreditation prior, and had experience with marketing cruising. Edgar organised a three-night P&O cruise aboard the Pacific Jewel and created a Facebook event page kick-start bookings for the event.

Edgar received 25 bookings for her girls’ weekend cruise, 21 of which were new customers. Personal touches were added to the event including a dinner two weeks prior and goodie bags with toiletries.

Michael Gazal, TravelManagers’ Executive General Manager said that Edgar’s cruise was a good example of how successful social can be for personal travel managers.
