Top trending destination in Australia for 2019 is… Wagga Wagga?

Airbnb has released its top 10 trending destinations for Australia and the answer may shock you.

Based on bookings made in 2017 vs 2018, off the beaten path destinations outside major cities are proving popular as we head into the New Year, with shock winner Wagga Wagga taking out the top spot with a 289 per cent increase in bookings!

Blackheath was a very close second with an increase of 281 per cent, followed by Toowoomba with a 229 per cent increase.
