Qantas Holidays has unveiled Honolulu, Hawai’i as the destination for the 2016 Global Achievers gala.

Global Achievers is the reward program for helloworld’s wholesale brands, including Qantas Holidays, Viva! Holidays, Rail Tickets, Ready Rooms for Agents, The Cruise Team and Insider Journeys.

On 15 October, 150 top travel consultants from around the country will join 20 top sellers from The Cruise Team brand in Honolulu for the 2016 Global Achievers gala event.

Award categories will include the 500 Club, individual state winners, and the international consultant of the year for 2016, as well as cruise consultant of the year.

Acting country manager of Hawai’i Tourism Oceania, Janaya Birse, said she was thrilled that the guests would be able to experience Hawai’i first hand.

“These travel consultants are the first point of contact for many aspiring travellers wanting to visit the Hawaiian islands,” she said.

In the lead up to the glittering gala event, guests will experience Hawai’i through a series of pre- and post-famil opportunities to Kaua’i, Maui, Hawai’i Island and O’ahu.

GM sales for the wholesale brands, Fiona Dalton, said that the itineraries will be designed to assist consultants in experiencing a new side of Hawai’i they may be less familiar with.
