The hotel that refused Kate & Wills and Hot Harry!

It’s not everyday you read about someone actually denying the Royal Family of what they want, but today, that’s exactly what’s happened, with a French hotel giving the thumbs down to a request to stay.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, aka Kate and Wills, along with the gorgeous Prince Harry, were refused a room at Le Hôtel Marotte in Amiens, France, because the hotel was already booked out, according to Independent UK.

The Royal Family were looking for a place to stay when they attend a commemorative event for the Battle of the Somme on June 30 and July 1 when they gave the hotel a buzz. Although we doubt it was the Duke or Harry on the phone to the manager.

The family were requesting four suites for the two nights at the hotel, which is the only five-star property near the battlefields, but were told it’s “already booked solid”.

Manager Oliver Walti said the hotel was contacted by the French Foreign Ministry in January to make a reservation, but “we had to decline the offer, it is impossible, we are already booked solid.

“We could not tell people who have booked with us for months and who have already paid for their stay, sorry, but the Royal Family is coming, we will have to cancel. It’s just unthinkable ethically,” he added.

Clearly, Kate and Wills need a better travel agent – anyone?
