Sydney glows in blue and white

Tottenham Hotspur FC climbed a specially illuminated blue and white Sydney Harbour Bridge, to celebrate the team’s arrival into the city on Thursday morning.

The squad watched the harbour bathe in colourful light for Vivid Sydney, just before enjoying a bridge climb in illuminated vests, watched eagerly by crowds below.

To welcome the English football blub, images of Spur’s captain and goalkeeper Hugo Lloris, striker Harry Kane, and midfielder Christian Eriksen, were projected onto the Harbour Bridge’s pylons.

“Sydney is a great city and it’s been amazing so far since we got here this morning. I’ve managed to see the Sydney Harbour Bridge and the Sydney Opera House. It looks like a great city and I’m really enjoying my time here. I’ll definitely be coming back on a holiday one day and telling all my mates to come along as well,” Tottenham Hotspur striker, Harry Kane said.

Tottenham Hotspur FC is in Sydney ahead of its match against Sydney FC at ANZ stadium of Saturday May 30, 2015.

Tickets are still on sale.
