Secret’s out – airline crew totally get it on mid-flight

A new study has revealed that YES! Airline crew totally hook up in between services on those uber long-haul flights.

The study by Jetcost.co.uk showed that 89 per cent of airline cabin crewmembers have broken a rule or two during flights, but most notably was the rule about staff ahem, relations.

Of the 718 British flight attendants surveyed, 21 per cent said they’d “indulged in sexual relations with a colleague during a flight”, while 14 per cent had even gotten busy with their passengers.

Still, the most common act of rule breaking, according to the study recently reported by The Telegraph UKis crew members lying about the availability of duty free products, at 28 per cent, so not that much higher than having sex with a co-worker.

Additionally, one in five respondents had short-changed passengers by giving them change in a different currency, banking on the fact that most passengers don’t closely examine their change. The average amount scooped? Around £331 (AU$553) per year, per The Telegraph UK.

And another seven per cent said they’d accepted tips and gifts from their passengers in the past.

Another article from Travel+Leisure revealed a few more cabin crew confessions, such as how to break into locked bags and why you should always bring your own headphones.

According to reddit user royalsiblings, “You can pop a zipper with a pen and drag the locked zipper pulls around the bag to close them back up. I’ve done this many times to identify bags that are tagless and locked. Exactly like this.

Reddit user ichigo29 confessed, “I used to work for warehouse that supplied a certain airline with items. The headsets that are given to you are not new, despite being wrapped up. They are taken off the flight, ‘cleaned,’ and then packaged again”.
