Passenger’s fart forces plane to make emergency landing

Well, if this isn’t a good Monday story to feel your morning with smiles and laughter we don’t know what is.

A passenger on a Transavia Airlines flight from Dubai to Amsterdam might have had a little too many beans for breakfast, as his unstoppable flatulence forced the pilot to make an emergency landing.

Yep, you read that right.

A poor man’s farts were so severe, so putrid, an entire plane had to turnaround.

For the passenger, this is the stuff of nightmares, in the same vein as turning up to school naked.

For the rest of the flyers, this was less an inconvenience, more a good story to tell the grandkids.

According to the Metro UK, the issue was not so much for the man in question, but two Dutch women sitting next to him.

As the passenger continued to, for lack of a better phrase ‘let them rip’, the surrounding men became increasingly agitated.

Eventually, the three men came to blows, as Mr. McFarty refused to stop and flight attendants were at a loss of what to do.

Despite a warning from the pilot pleading with the three men to settle down, the brawl continued, and eventually, the pilot had no choice but to land in Vienna.

Ok, so we admit the fart itself wasn’t the sole reason the plane turned around, but it was the reason the fight broke out in the first place.

As per the Metro UK, police then boarded the plane with dogs and removed two sisters and the two men after the pilot made a report about ‘passengers on the rampage’.

Nora Lacchab and her unnamed sister, the two other passengers, are now seeking legal action as they say being removed by police was ‘humiliating’.

“We had no idea who these boys were, we just had the bad luck to be in the same row and we didn’t do anything.”

“All I will say is that the crew were really provocative and stirred things up,” she added.

That’s one stinky situation.
