Starting on the 30^th January there will be two tour options departing in Summer and two in Winter so travellers can choose between an extraordinary Northern Lights or Midnight Sun experience.

Aurora Borealis Hunter

Travellers will start their four day journey by flying from Copenhagen to Kangerlussuaq, a quaint settlement home to less than 600 people where muskox and reindeer roam free. Here explorers will spend time enjoying local excursions in this winter wonderland including; dog sledging, driving to the Inland Ice Cap and an Arctic nature tour. With an absence of artificial light pollution and a sky often clear of clouds, Kangerlussuaq is one of the best places to catch sight of the Northern Lights. Travellers can enjoy two evening tours complete with cups of delicious Greenlandic coffee. Prices for the Aurora Borealis Hunter tour, which runs from January to March, start at $3,475 per person.

On this five day tour adventurers will fly to Kangerlussuaq, where they will feel as if they have travelled back to the Ice Age as they are surrounded by glaciers. The days will be spent enjoying winter pursuits – driving through glacier valleys and frozen rivers to the Inland Ice Cap, and traversing the countryside as the Inuit’s have done for centuries. As well as an authentic dog sledging experience, travellers will also hunt for the Northern Lights – soaking up the spectacular light shows of this natural phenomena with two evening tours. Prices for the Aurora & Polar Circle tour, which runs from January to March, start from $3,765 per person.

Greenland Ilulissat Adventure

This five day tour takes travellers to the picturesque town of Ilulissat, 295km north of the polar circle. Explorers will enjoy a city walk on the first day to get to know this remote and peaceful town and to make the most of the day that never ends this will be followed by a midnight cruise to the UNESCO-listed icefjord, a true highlight of a Greenland summer. The sun remains above the horizon throughout the night, casting a kaleidoscope of reds, yellows and oranges over the magnificent icebergs.  The atmospheric occasion is made even more magical when the tour guide chisels fresh ice cubes from the nearby icebergs for the drinks served onboard. Western Greenland Explorer

This eight day tour combines Ilulissat and Kangerlussuaq for the ultimate Greenland summer adventure. Travellers will discover the beauty of Greenland in the summer with three days in Ilulissat, which includes an evening cruise to the icefjords during the midnight sun. Also on offer are a myriad of  local excursions including hiking to a viewpoint over the icebergs of Sermermiut and sailing to the small settlement of Rodebay. From here explorers will travel back south for two days in Kangerlussaq with a guided 4×4 tour into the Arctic desert, driving across narrow mountain tracks, ancient glacier valleys and small mountains to the famous inland ice cap, stopping throughout the journey for spectacular views over the unspoiled Arctic landscape.
