We chat to Lucy Lea Tucker, Aspen Skiing Company’s International Public Relations, Senior Manager

The challenge for the industry is… Global Warming!

The things I like about my job…  I live in Aspen but I get to travel internationally,  meet new people, wine & dine and ski a ton!

And the frustrations are … Too little time! I see about 150 media during the ski season — and I wish I had more time to spend with them.

If I didn’t work in travel I would be… a writer!

Virgin or Qantas? Qantas – I love Neil Perry’s food!

My proudest moment was… when I won the Colorado Ski Country USA President’s Award in 2014.

The naughtiest thing I ever did was…accidentally lose a journalists on the ski hill.

I try to relax by… drinking wine!

The last time I feared for my life was…Probably on an airplane!

If I can, I always try to avoid… Drinking too much with travel writers!

I really wish I had… a lightning speed hovercraft to travel to all of my international markets.

The best advice I’ve ever received was… “Kill ’em with kindness”

I don’t understand why people… enjoy complaining about restaurants and hotels so much! There are worse places to be….

My greatest weakness is… chocolate. and good looking, Australian men!

And my greatest strength is… Being able to read people.

If I was prime minister I would… Phase out wars!

If I won $1 million on the lottery I would… Take my friends and family on a fabulous trip.

If I could be someone else for one day I would be a…

I’ve always wanted to travel to… Bora Bora

My favourite holiday was… Thanksgiving – it is all about friends, family and homemade, delicious FOOD! The Aspen Snowmass ski season opens every year on Thanksgiving.
