This week, Travis Graham, the industry account manager at Adventure World Travel, let us interview him AND took us on an Adventure World trip. Okay, only one of those statements is true.

The challenge for the industry is…

Combatting the perception that travellers can create their own holiday online! Most homeowners wouldn’t do their own plumbing or electrical work and the same principle should apply to individuals booking their own travel!

We work with incredible travel agents who just really know their stuff, they get their clients the best deals and help create them a holiday of a lifetime.

The thing I like about my job is…

That everyday is different. I am constantly learning and continually surprised by the incredible and unique travel itinerary experiences offered by Adventure World Travel.

The exotic locations on offer from every continent around the globe continually provide me with travel inspiration.. I’m always planning the next adventure, only downside is not enough enough annual leave!

And the frustrations are…

How consumers strive for the cheapest deal but don’t understand that you get what you pay for.

If I didn’t work in travel I would…

Be a lot wealthier but very bored.

Favourite airline?

Having worked for Malaysia Airlines I definitely have a soft spot for them, however my favourite airline is the one taking me on my next adventure.

Becoming a father.

The naughtiest thing I ever did was…

I’ve done a few silly things in my time and nudie runs would rank pretty high especially if you knew where they had been done… Oh to be young and stupid again, they were fun times.

I’ve always wanted to travel to…

Madagascar! I’ve actually had my eye on Adventure World Travel’s Handpicked Madagascar trip.

I love experiencing the local wildlife when travelling and this trip visit’s the Perinet and Mantadia Nature Reserves, famous for their singing Lemur’s.

My favourite holiday was…

Every one I’ve ever taken! I’m very fortunate to have ticked off some amazing destinations across all seven continents and I tend to travel for specific things such as natural wonders, wild life, diving and personal challenges.

Each destination I’ve travelled to has educated me about different cultures and planted the seeds for my next journey
