Inland tourism awards finalists announced

Inland NSW congratulates the 2015 Travel In Inland Tourism Awards (INTA) finalists announced recently.

With 51 finalists across 19 categories representing four regional tourism areas – Central, Inland, Murray and Riverina – the Awards recognise excellence in tourism and are used as a stepping stone for winners to attain NSW Tourism Award nominations.

CEO of Inland NSW, Graham Perry, was buoyed by the fantastic showing of Inland businesses within the list of finalists.

“We’d like to congratulate the 20 Inland NSW INTA finalists named today on this acknowledgment of excellence,” says Perry.

“Being named a finalist in the Travel In INTA Awards is well deserved recognition that the applicant has committed time to work on their business. This in itself should be applauded, with winning an award being the icing on the cake. Congratulations to all our finalists.

“We’re also delighted that the newly rolled out Inland NSW digital platform, ‘Travel In’, is the naming rights sponsor for the 2015 Awards.

Travel In is a new game changing online destination which will help attract more visitors to regional NSW.

“No other travel site in Australia will have the breadth and depth of information about inland NSW regions. Encouraging travellers to be inspired, amazed and surprised, Travel In will provide credible information on what to see and do, how to get there, where to stay and what the locals recommend. It will make it easier for people to find the information they need to plan and book a holiday and easier for businesses to connect with the people who are looking to explore the region.

“Instead of having to visit dozens of different websites, travellers will be able to go to one for the answers they seek: Travel In.”
