How to make a nomination for the 2016 NTIA’s

Man putting a ballot into a voting box

With nominations for the 2016 AFTA National Travel Industry Awards now open, the Australian Federation of Travel Agents has issued guidelines for those thinking about making a nomination.

This year’s event will return to Dockside Pavilion Darling Harbour for the final time before moving to the new International Convention Centre Sydney in 2017.

“The AFTA NTIA celebrates and rewards excellence in the Australian travel industry through a process which includes nominating, voting and judging candidates by an independent panel, culminating in the announcement of the winners at a Gala Awards Dinner,” AFTA said.

There are three nomination forms available – one form for the travel agent to nominate a supplier, another for a supplier to nominate a travel agent and the third is for the Emirates Travel Consultant Scholarship, which is a self nomination application.

Nominations, open until February 26 at 5pm, will only be accepted via the online forms which are accessible by clicking here.

The final nominee list will be announced in March 2016.
