Helloworld makes big announcement as OMC Conference wraps up
The 2018 Helloworld Travel Owner Managers Conference (OMC) and Business Travel Summit have now wrapped up!
The four days featured insights, education and entertainment for attending delegates, bringing together network agents from around the country to share in the positive direction and newest developments for the Helloworld Travel Group
650 Owner-managers, preferred supplier partners, senior executives and staff from both events attended the Adelaide Convention Centre, where proceedings were kicked off by the Premier of South Australia, Steven Marshall.
The South Australian Tourism Commission certainly impressed the delegates early on with what was repeatedly described as the “best conference show bag ever” featuring SA Wine and Haigh’s chocolate.
Our two favourite things!
The conference was also packed with exciting announcements, including the unveiling of Ready Room’s extreme new makeover, with upgrades and improvements to make the system more seamless for agents.
The new design features an all-new interface has added components to give agents more flexibility when booking and the ability to amend partially paid bookings, through amending dates, changing hotels, working on a booking at different points in time and adding transfers or day tours closer to departure dates.
The search functionality has also been improved, with the use of hotel name search, filters with nightly rate price slider, an improved map search and functions, hotel availability on selected dates and the ability to hide prices in a customer view, all of the upgrades provide agents with more advanced tools to service their clients efficiently.
To celebrate the launch of the all-new Ready Rooms, Agents have the opportunity to win one of 115 prizes from a prize pool valued at over $25,000!
For more information on the new incentive go here.
In other big Helloworld news, the conference finished off with the announcement that next year’s Helloworld Travel OMC and Business Travel Summit will be held in May 2019 in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam!
