Germanwings co-pilot deliberately crashed flight 4U9525

In breaking news, it has been confirmed that the Germanwings co-pilot, Andreas Lubitz, deliberately crashed the Airbus passenger plane.

According to the French prosecutor, Brice Robin, the co-pilot locked out the pilot and controlled the plane throughout its decent until the moment of fatal impact. It was also revealed during a late night press conference that Lubitz, aged 28, increased the speed of the plane during the decline.

“The co-pilot was conscious until the moment of impact,” Robin said. He went on to say that the co-pilots breathing could be defined as “normal” throughout the descent.

In a harrowing recount of the final moments of flight 4U9525 during a press conference in Marseille, Robin detailed silence inside the cockpit prior to the Germanwings plane crash. He went on to say that death was sudden and immediate but there were some audible cries just before collision.

The latest revelations have come with the recovery of the black box and it’s recording of the cockpit activity.

There was no contact between Marseille control tower and the plane, despite numerous efforts to contact the plane in the last few minutes.

Robin refused to answer questions about ethnic origns of the co-pilot but did say, “There is no element that indicates this is a terrorist action.”

Reporters also asked if this was a suicide and the prosecutor replied, “I can’t call this a suicide, but it is a legitimate question to ask”.

The press conference comes following a leak of the report to the New York Times, as reported by Travel Weekly earlier today.
