Outrigger Fiji scores a hat trick with three consecutive wins at Fiji Tourism Awards
It was a hat trick for Outrigger Fiji Beach Resort at the ANZ Fiji Excellence in Tourism Awards with the resort winning the Best Deluxe Accommodation Award for the third year running.
Held last Saturday night, the awards showcase accommodation and service excellence and exceptional contributions to Fiji’s tourism industry and are overseen by an independent panel of industry judges.
The five-star Outrigger Fiji Beach Resort features 206 rooms and 47 bures and is located on the Coral Coast in a traditional Fijian village-style setting.
Last year its fine dining restaurant Ivi won the award for Best Visitor Dining Experience and its Bebe Spa Sanctuary won the Pevonia International Spa Design of the Year award for the fourth year in succession. In 2017 Outrigger Fiji Beach Resort was also named Best Family Resort in Fiji for the second year running in the annual readers’ choice survey conducted by Holidays with Kids magazine.

Son Brull, Mallorca, to launch new spa
Son Brull is delighted announce the launch of a brand-new spa, set to open in March. Situated in the northern part of Mallorca near Pollensa, the family owned and managed Son Brull, a former monastery dating back to the 12th century, is the perfect rural sanctuary for those wanting to break away from the crowds and disconnect. The newly built spa, complete with contemporary design elements in wood and stone, will be sympathetic to the main hotel’s original architecture.
The spa is based around the four elements with a particular focus on getting back to nature and reconnecting with the earth. Using dark colours and contemporary furniture, the spa has a sense of timelessness where guests are grounded in a peaceful silence.
Replacing the original spa and larger in size, the new development will consist of three treatment rooms, including one for couple’s treatments, and set in the palatial garden surrounded by the scent of local flowers and herbs. All the treatment rooms overlook the beautiful countryside and hills of northern Mallorca. The spa will consist of an indoor water circuit pool, jacuzzi, sauna, Hammam and a yoga and meditation room offering complimentary daily group yoga.
Sydney’s Tank Stream Hotel’s Easter deal offers discounts and chance to win a Vivid prize package
Easter getaways in Sydney will be even more attractive this year at the Tank Stream Hotel, with the hotel’s special Easter package offering up to 40 per cent discount on full rates, along with the chance to win a special Vivid Festival package.

New family rooms for Bandara Resort & Spa Samui
