Bachelorette finale filmed in Fiji

Bachelorette finale filmed in Fiji

If you were in Fiji a few months ago and didn’t catch the Bachelorette finale in person, we bet you have a few regrets.

But, to be fair, those Channel 10 producers are masters at keeping things under wraps (the winners usually only get leaked like once every season).

Fiji is a lovers paradise, of course – with it’s white sandy beaches, crystal clear water and friendly locals it’s not surprise it was the chosen location this year for the filming of the much anticipated Bachelorette finale.

Stu is the obvious frontrunner (and obvious winner) of the three bachelors left vying for Sophie Monks heart – but when Jarrod or Apollo gets heartbroken, at least it’s in Fiji.

Fiji has long been considered the perfect location for loved up couples from around the world to renew their vows, have the perfect wedding, honeymoon or marriage proposal. With Monk reportedly already pregnant, we’re betting on a proposal.

“Fiji provided a stunning backdrop for Sophie to take the final steps in her quest for love. The tropical paradise, rich in culture provided a variety of romantic experiences that set the scene and allowed Sophie to truly explore her feelings,” said a Warner Bros. Spokesperson.

Tourism Fiji Regional Manager Australia, Hal Caldwell, said The Bachelorette Australia provides a unique opportunity for the world to see why Fiji is the ideal location for romance.

“Tourism Fiji is privileged to have collaborated with Network Ten and Warner Bros. Entertainment.

“The Bachelorette Australia audience reach is just phenomenal and the finale episode shot in Fiji provides us with an invaluable opportunity to showcase Fiji as the ultimate holiday romance destination to Fiji’s biggest tourism market – Australia,” he said.

“With an upcoming reinvigoration of our Where Happiness Finds You brand in market, and a newly expanded team of industry-leading talent within our Australian office, Tourism Fiji is driving a new strategy to spotlight the vast array of experiences on offer in Fiji – including to the romance and luxury markets.

“We’re upping the volume and variety of content for Australian audiences and The Bachelorette Australia presents incredible prospects as our fresh, new marketing direction begins to flourish,” he added.

The Bachelorette Australia finale episode will include scenes shot at The Fiji Marriott Resort Momi Bay, Malamala Beach Club Fiji and the Garden of the Sleeping Giant. It will also feature Fiji’s heart-shaped Tavarua Island and other picturesque settings, romantic experiences and activities.

We just have to get rid of one more pesky bachelor before we can see it. Hurry up Thursday!
