Do you think you have what it takes to be Australia’s next big thing in the world of Travel Instagram? If so, grab your camera and check this out.

Travel photographer and Australia’s first professional Instagrammer, Lauren Bath, in conjunction with Choice Hotels Asia-Pac, has announced a nationwide call-out for ‘Australia’s next big travel Instagrammer’, as part of the launch of the highly anticipated #ChoiceTravelGrammer2016 campaign.
#ChoiceTravelGrammer2016 will see Choice Hotels Asia-Pac send 20 up-and-coming travel Instagrammers to 20 different locations across Australia from Saturday 30 July – Sunday 31 July. Participants will showcase all the great adventures and “hidden gems” available in these regions.

The campaign is designed to encourage the exploration of all that Australia has to offer, by demonstrating the wide variety of activities to be enjoyed and the huge amount of choice available when selecting accommodation.

Budding bloggers, Instagrammers, savvy social personalities and those wanting a little more wanderlust in their lives, can follow the competition and learn more via the campaign hashtag #ChoiceTravelGrammer2016 or the campaign website www.ChoiceTravelGrammer.com.au.
“With such vast and varied landscapes, unique wildlife, and a different adventure around every corner, Australia is definitely one of the most interesting countries to travel and experience. I’m really passionate about highlighting beautiful places to stay and all the great things there are to see and do right here at home,” Bath said.

Hosted by Bath, the Choice Hotels TravelGrammer will invite Instagrammers from across Australia to enter a competition to become one of 20 lucky travel Instagrammers to participate in a 32-hour famil at one of 20 different locations spread all across Australia. The best of the bunch will be crowned the ‘Choice Hotels 2016 Australian TravelGrammer and win a three-day getaway to Hervey Bay in Queensland, where they will be accompanied by Lauren Bath and receive personal tuition on improving their social media skills.

Choice Hotels Asia-Pac, General Manager for Marketing, Matt Taylor, said “Choice is excited to be running TravelGrammer. We think this campaign is innovative and the first time an event like this has been run in this way. We want Australians to see the many opportunities available to them when they are considering a weekend getaway or a short break. Through TravelGrammer, we will highlight 20 beautiful destinations and showcase the attractions, culinary delights and the choice of accommodation options that Choice Hotels provide in each location.”

Applications for #ChoiceTravelGrammer2016 will open from Thursday 30 June 2016 and close on Friday 15 July 2016.
