Airlines: The good, the bad & the ugly

A young boy with outstretched arms lies on top of a suitcase imagining he is flying on an airplane away and traveling to exotic locations. He is wearing a flight cap and goggles and has a large smile on his face. He loves to travel.

The good, the bad, and the ugly. Here is what you want to know about the airlines of the world.

The pattern is as expected; Asia’s airlines are mostly great, America’s are down the bottom, and Europe is in the middle.

This data is gained from FlightStats.com and customer satisfaction data from Skytrax – which asks customers to rate out of five the quality of their food, service, comfort, inflight entertainment and value for money.

American and United each scored 2.17, while leaders ANA and Singapore Airlines, both rated at 4.17.

The prices between airlines was often little depending on destination, something expected from a competitive market.

Here are some of the stats in graph form.
