Adventure with Intrepid and earn Qantas points

Adventure travel specialists Intrepid and Peregrine are the latest to partner with Qantas Frequent Flyer program, bringing travellers more ways to earn points.

Trips that cost $1,000 or more will earn 2,500 Qantas Points with Intrepid Travel and 3,500 Qantas Points with its sister-company Peregrine Adventures. This is on top of the points they could earn if they pay with their Qantas Points earning credit card and book eligible flights with Qantas or its partner airlines as part of their trip.

Qantas Loyalty CEO Lesley Grant said travel is the number one interest of Qantas Frequent Flyers so this announcement will be great news for members looking to book an adventure tour.

“We know our members love to travel and this partnership rewards those adventurous spirits who like to get off the beaten track,” Grant said.

“Our members already have the opportunity to travel the world with Qantas and our partner airlines and now they’ll be able to enjoy an even more rewarding travel experience when they take a tour with Intrepid or Peregrine.”

Intrepid Group, Regional Director, Peter Rawley said “This is a beautiful friendship between two iconic Australian companies that help adventurous Antipodeans to discover every corner of our world. Intrepid and Peregrine are run by travellers for travellers. We know that there are a lot of Qantas Frequent Flyers like us who want to spend their hard-earned money on experiences, not things. This new partnership offers them the anecdote to their post-travel blues, as they can actually earn points for their next trip while they travel on an Intrepid or Peregrine trip.”
