Uniworld Boutique River Cruise Collection will set sail once again on Egypt’s great Nile River, sending its elegant, all-suite River Tosca down the iconic river from October next year.

Uniworld is one of several brands in The Travel Corporation family to return to Egypt, floating back into the country alongside Insight Vacations, Trafalgar and Contiki.

According to The Travel Corporation’s CEO Brett Tollman, there is a backlog of demands to return to Egypt, with more travellers confident in the travel options.

Uniworld will debut its return with its ‘Splendors of Egypt & the Nile’ tour kicking off on October 3, taking passengers on a 12-day cruise that starts and ends in Cairo.

Uniworld’s general manager John Molinaro said the company is delighted to be able to resume sailing the Nile and exploring Egypt’s historic sites.

“Egypt is one of the most awe-inspiring destinations I have visited, and one that no culturally curious traveller will want to miss,” he said.

Uniworld encourages guests to book early to take advantage of savings, with couples who pay in full before March 31 2015 able to save up to $1200.
