Phil Hoffmann Travel has confirmed it will join Helloworld, describing the new Jetset Travelworld Group retail brand as an “ideal fit” for its stores.

The company comprises eight locations in South Australia along with Phil Hoffman Business Travel.

Managing director Phil Hoffmann commented that the membership would enable it to continue operating independently while leveraging group benefits such as purchasing power along with business and systems support.

“There’s no doubt that the travel industry is changing, therefore it’s essential that we are part of a group that is forward thinking and innovative,” he said.

“I believe Helloworld is the only group that is realistically considering the future of travel in Australia by creating a strategy and providing support that will deliver long-term sustainability for agents.”

Meanwhile, JTG's head of associate networks David Padman claimed the services on offer under the new brand would help “enhance” the future growth of PHT.

“Phil Hoffmann Travel will continue to carry its own name, building on their reputation for providing value and personalised services, “ he said.

“Our aim is to ensure that the Helloworld associate members receive support, value and financial reward while maximising their independence.”
