Globus and Cosmos have released their 2015 United States and Canada programs, introducing new itineraries and destinations – including a new range of four Cosmos tours in South America.

Savings of $300 per couple are available for all Cosmos South America tours booked by September 30 and on the Canadian and Alaska Masterpiece itinerary, with a 10% discount on all 2015 tours paid in full 12 months or more prior to travel. 

There are also further discounts of 5% for second tour bookings and for Journeys Club repeat travellers. 

 

The new 2015 Europe and Britain preview from Trafalgar and Insight Vacations offers agents the chance to plan their clients’ 2-15 European getaways at 2014 pricing.

A $200 deposit will secure the deal, with the operators to refund the difference if any itinerary goes down in price upon the launch of the 2015 brochures in September.

Both brands are also offering a 10% early payment discount up for grabs for those who book and pay in full by December 18.

 

Fiji Airways has unveiled an overhaul of its Economy Class meals across its international network, as well as a refreshing of its Business Class dining, with the introduction of a new signature dish.

 

Sunshine Coast Destination Ltd (SCDL) has appointed a new tourism development manager, Susan Maynard.

Maynard brings experience in both tourism and training environments, and has worked in the tourism industry for over 20 years in retail, wholesale, accommodation, and Tourism and Events Queensland.

 

Starwood Hotels & Resorts will hold its 2014 Starwood Australian Expo this week with 35 international representatives attending to showcase the company’s offerings across its nine brands.

The Expo will be held in: Perth on June 23, Sydney on June 24 and 25, Melbourne on June 26 and Brisbane on June 27.
