ITG's italktravel brand moves into WA
By admin

Independent Travel Group’s italktravel franchise has opened its first location in Western Australia – with the North Perth agency a former Harvey World Travel store.

Colin Rourke’s agency in North Perth is his first to join the network, with his second store in Narrogin scheduled to come on board in July.

“We have our exclusive territory and we’re working with a great family company in ITG,” Rourke said.

“We look forward to many years of partnership with the italktravel brand and team in building our business across existing and new customers."

On April 7, three outlets in Newcastle pioneered the “italktravel” brand, with 16 shops to be operating by August.

ITG anticipates 100 exclusive stores will be open by the end of 2015.

“Our exclusive territory agreements and bonus profit pool for franchisees is resonating extremely well across Australia, as is the high reward and low cost model upon which italktravel is based,” ITG chief executive Tom Manwaring said.
