24 hours in Las Vegas

24 hours in Las Vegas

Las Vegas is renowned for being the party capital of the world, with the bright lights, dangerous cocktails and fantastic shows.

So Contiki thought it essential to include it in its TTC Great Escape itinerary, part of the tantalising adventure awaiting 100 lucky agents at the end of this year.

If you haven’t already got involved in the TTC Great Escape, now is your chance – because this is one famil you will want to save a seat on. Check out more here.

Here is where we count down a whole list of exciting things to do and see in Vegas if you’ve only got 24 hours. You’re in for one hell of a hangover!

1. Cruise down The Strip in a limo

Nothing screams Vegas more than hopping in a limo, sticking your head through the roof, and sipping a glass of champagne as the streets fly by you.

2. See a Cirque de Soleil show

Bendy, stretchy acrobats are a wonder to witness, and Cirque de Soleil are the world’s greatest. Catch these impressive performers in a variety of shows at a variety of venues for the time of your life.

3. Visit a wedding chapel

A trip to Sin City wouldn’t be complete without stopping off at a wedding chapel and, if you’re lucky, witnessing a drunk couple (drunk on love of course!) tie the knot. We recommend the infamous Little White Chapel.

4. See the Grand Canyon

No one visits Las Vegas without taking the time to trek out to visit the world’s largest canyon. Unless you’re Travel Weekly and a bit naive. So don’t miss out, and pay a visit to this majestic, mighty natural wonder. With Contiki, you can even helicopter over the beauty for a (very) reduced price.

5. Ride the High Roller

The newest addition to The Strip is the High Roller, and if you haven’t heard of it yet, it’s something to behold. This isn’t your ordinary ferris wheel, oh no. High Roller is a 550-foot tall, 520-foot diameter giant Ferris wheel that overlooks the entire Strip, with each pod capable of holding 40 people – now that’s a party!
